Doing Our Part for Earth Day

At JMT, caring for our communities and environment goes hand in hand with how we show up every day. Earth Day gives us a chance to put that care into action.

Organized in partnership with local nonprofits and community agencies, our teams helped remove more than 3,800 pounds of trash from parks, rivers, greenways, and roadways. They mulched and planted trees, refreshed pollinator habitats, held electronics recycling drives, and even built bee-friendly gardens.

Organizations we were proudly worked alongside this year included:

  • Adopt-A-Highway Program
  • Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay
  • Charleston County Park & Recreation
  • Charlotte Parks & Recreation
  • City of Richmond Parks & Recreation
  • Downtown Committee of Syracuse
  • Friends of Oxon Run
  • Gunpowder Valley Conservancy
  • Mecklenburg Stormwater Services
  • New York State Canal Corporation
  • Parks & Trails New York
  • Potomac Riverkeeper Network
  • Protect Our Rivers

Teams from 15 of our offices took part and made the work personal—, not just symbolic. In some communities, we reinforced long-standing partnerships. In others, we joined new cleanups, sponsored community events, or introduced environmental activities into the office for the first time.
